LONDON, UK – SH1FT, the revolutionary new functional HIIT brand, has today launched Virtual Instructor Training, giving instructors around the world the opportunity to train and become a SH1FT coach, online.

SH1FT stands for Smart High Intensity Functional Training and is designed to allow people of every fitness level to train smarter and stay fit for life. SH1FT launched in London in May 2017 and in the last six months, has trained instructors all around the UK via in-person training courses.

SH1FT will be the very first UK based Instructor Training provider to offer a virtual training solution to instructors, expanding SH1FTs global footprint significantly.

Will Brereton, Founder of SH1FT says “SH1FT is a digital first company and what has set us apart to date, is our unique format and App based solution. So, it makes sense that we also lead the way for the UK in Virtual Instructor Training. Since launching, we have been flooded with interest from instructors all around the globe and we are excited to finally be able to offer an affordable and flexible solution to all.”

SH1FTs Virtual Instructor Training will offer the same learning opportunities and library of resources as the in-person training, but it will give the instructor the ability to learn at their own pace, in a location that suits them via E-Leaning on the SH1FT ‘Coach Portal’. On completion of the training, instructors will be asked to upload a video submission from their mobile phone and if successful in demonstrating the SH1FT teaching principles, they will qualify as a SH1FT Coach.

Virtual Instructor Training is now live in every country in the world, but is only available in English at present.

HIIT as a fitness format is has grown significantly in recent years. Last week, the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) released their Annual Survey of Worldwide Fitness Trends which ranked HIIT and Group Fitness as number one and two in their 2018 predicted fitness trends meaning SH1FTs move to expand their offering worldwide is a particularly pertinent one.
